Bob - I thought I've seen all of the different types of steam locomotives, but this lococmotive takes the cake! Two separate wheel sets, two smoke stacks, two coal bunkers - yet it's one locomotive! Thanks for sharing the photo of this unique locomotive.

Thanks for the comment Jeff. These Double Fairlies have always been part of the 2' gauge Ffestiniog Railway's fleet. They're real push-me-pull-you engines. See the Ffestiniog's website (in photo caption) for history of these unusual engines.
