Wow, neat photo! The car at the left appears to be 503, one of two express package cars the South Shore owned that were rebuilt from ex-Indiana Railroad interurban RPO cars. It's still around, now on display in Scottsburg, IN; car 38 is also still around, having found a home in Boone, IA. Great snapshot of a moment in time on the South Shore.
