Glen Walters: 40 - 45 years ago I was talking to Andrew Merrilees himself about a steel caboose he had for sale for $3K. The only problem was it was in Montreal and I wanted it on my property in Muskoka. Although I was driving long-haul at the time the guy I worked for didn't have any low bed floats I could use and by the time I could make arrangements to rent one he'd already sold it. I had a couple of loads of 40# rail to haul from Merrilees's Weston Toronto Yard to Thunder Bay. We had taken some rough measurements of the flatbed I was using but it was too high to haul something likle that, unfortunately! I do not have any interior photos of that particular caboose and although I used to have some of YDHR's caboose I'm pretty sure they were the only interior shots I had but got lost when the hard drive they were on crashed and burned.
