This picture brings back some memories of growing up on the south side of Chicago. I remember riding these cars a few times with my parents when I was a boy. We had to ride the bus to the station at Ninety-Third Street at the end of the line to catch the train. Then we would ride the train into downtown. Since this picture was taken on March thirty-first, I am surprised to see that it seems to be raining instead of snowing or freezing rain or icy.
