Very nice Mitch. I often wondered what the surrounding area of the falls looked like and you captured it nicely.

The foreground detail definitely adds to the overall effect of this scene, drawing the whole scene right into the camera lens in this case due to the walkway & low stone wall. I'll give you a coveted "Photographer's Choice Award" on this one Mitch.

Might be the best shot from the location, certainly the first that shows mroe than just the falls and the trestle. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful. Yes, the composition works very well. And the fall color is wow gorgeous. A good friend grew up in nearby Warsaw (NY not Poland) and he and his family used to picnic right about this spot so he tells me. The view must have inspired him because he recently retired from a 40 plus year railroad career. He and I are going to try this shot next month but obviously the foliage will be gone (and it probably will be raining and no train will be within 100 miles).
