This would be a B B - B B on it's builder plate. Has this ever been done on a diesel before ? EMD did do a B B B demonstration straight electric locomotive. I also think that GE may have used this configuration on a class of Union Pacific turbine locomotives.

These are trucks manufactured specially for the EFVM to make able the locomotives run in meter gauge.

And this configuration helps to accomodate a maximum weight of 22 or 23 tons per axle, instead of the standard 30 tons per axle on standard gauge networks in North or Central America.
