What a neat photo. I believe that the guy on top of the cars is wears a harness that is suspended from the yellow frames either side of the loaders.

This is a classic Illinois rail road scene. Such a scene has undoubtedly been reproduced at this site on a regular basis for decades: only the locomotive and paint schemes have changed.

Great shot. That unit was originally Boston & Maine 1577, built in 1953.
