WOW! Mountains means engines, and that's why I liked the Rio Grande/Southern Pacific's approach to dealing with trains they ran through those mountains. There wasn't any messin' around when it came to getting these coal trains over Soldier Summit and a lot of other mountain passes for that matter.

I will never forget as long as I live the experience of a seven tunnel motor helper passing me at the crossovers at Lynn, Utah. Never ever.
