Yet it's funny how the Santa trains on the former IC territory are still going. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe that they are still running.

As of last Christmas the former Clinchfield Railroad's Santa Train still runs from the former C & O Shelbyana, Ky. yard south down the former Clinchfield Railroad to Erwin, Tenn. CSX still gets lots of valuable newspaper and television coverage of the event.

I caught this train running through Michigan in December of '07, so apparently they found some money in the budget. Great catch, John. The subdued winter coloring is excellent.

He is the 2nd highest paid CEO in all of Canada. Worth over $56 million he could personally pay for the Santa train each year. Good photo John.
