I hope that SD45 returns to line and do what they do better, pull long and heavy freight trains!

I know it would be great to see the original SD45 back in service. Unfortunately time and technology move on and 1000 is more valuable to NS as a test bed. SD45s used to be great freight engines but now they are just big outdated fuel hogs plagued with serious mechanical problems. Thanks for this image Jim.
