I am neither from the US, nor do I pretend to be, but there is something about the electrics used by Pennsylvania RR/Penn Central, and Amtrak on the NEC that makes me wish that I was 30 years older, and from New York State. Great photos John! Favourited as always!

Now that I am aware of it myself, I notice that the front coupler on the mighty GG-1 is in the down position.

I love the GG-1, but I do not like the DD-1.
