Posted by Joseph Belote on October 16, 2010  CN 2295 was leading M31971 02 when it encountered a large downed tree at Flora on 02 August 2008. As luck would have it, the train was coming out of a 10 mph temporary slow order, thus damage was less than it would have been at 40-50 mph.
