A really neat shot. But, may I ask a possible stupid question, what does the sign mean? How can standard gauge just end?

In 2004 I was lucky enough to be able to ride Goose #5 (in both the front and the back) for a few miles south out Silverton. It ranks as my favorite rail riding experience. Someday I would like to ride it over the entire length of both the D&SNG and the C&TS.

Beautiful shot. This vehicle reminds me The Mad Max movie.

That is funny, it says end of standard gage, but the standard gage third rail isn't there anymore!
