Are these fully complete? The top of the nose is different from the rest of the MP36/40 fleet.. Wonder which agency these are for.

I bet they're for Metrolink, as I see an ATS boot. They should be SCAX 889 and 890.

I actually saw one of these babies in action in Oceanside CA. Was brand new and looks pretty good in metrolink paint.

What I don't understand is, how in the heck they think somebody standing on a steep ballast shoulder is going to get their foot on the bottom rung of that step ladder to the cab. They need to add two more rungs to that sucker! Might as well just dangle a rope from above the cab door and let the crew shimmy up it like you had to do in high school gym class!
