What a kind little steamer, Kevin!
What is it's gauge?

Vulcan #10 is currently a 2-footer (24" gauge). She's not an original Maine 2-footer, having been built for a sugar cane operation in Louisiana in 1904 as a 30" gauge engine. That helps explain why her frame (especially the cab!) looks overly wide. When she was regauged, the cylinders were not moved inboard, necessitating the design of extra-long crankpins (just barely visible in the photo). The museum is in possession of an 18-ton, authentic WW&F Locomotive, and is in the process of reboilering her, so in a couple of years, #10 will have a "big" sister.
