This isn't Corbin, but Loyall. The roundhouse at Corbin was demolished following the end of steam in 1956. Nice shot though.

L & N did not purchase any RS-11s new, but did receive several from Seaboard Coast Line about the same time period that they got the rest of SCL's ALco's . The RS-11's were used for some time in patched SCL black paint with L & N markings and 950 number series, and were repainted as time allowed.
