Who owned that loco before it headed south? It looks to have Frisco heritage. Very cool shot of a D-trucked loco!

That loco was owned by Vitória-Minas Railway itself. The DDM is an alternative SD45 built by EMD for Brazilian railway to run on the meter gauge lines.
