It looks like a waste land out in the flats of Wyoming. Great photo.
Does anyone know what they are building in the background?

I can remember One main line there! Adding track daily. Show more.

Welcome to the Cowboy State! Antelope, sagebrush, and lots of coal trains. Very nice, uncommon angle. 5 trains in one shot--very nicely done!
What kind of glass was used in this shot?
Amazing view, this picture just goes on forever, I really enjoyed this set of pictures Steve, nice job.
Cool Shot!!
Wow! Amazing shot. I love how you can see five trains, and then there is one little oil well too.
Great view! Cool to see the crane in the backround.
Wow! Reno has changed a lot since the '90's.
Really like the 'nodding donkey'!
Wow! Too much going on in this shot! My fave of the week so far. PCA from me.
And take a look at the size of the crane on the left side of the tracks. That thing is massive, probably owned by Lampson International, a worldwide crane and rigging contractor.
Speaking of the crane - what looks like two concrete towers on the near end to the tracks are the counterweights. It can probably pick up 1,000 tons plus.
I am impressed. It is not always possible to get 5 trains in 1 shot. [GREAT SHOOTING]
Excellent work, its hard to believe that Intermodal traffic has surpassed these endless coal trains. Was wondering what you were doing in Wyoming.
I read about this crane collapsing over the rails. Great shot by the way.
A heavy traffic moment!
Great job, Steve!
