Really nice view of the best back shop in the business! So....uh....how did you get the "altitude"??? I am envious! BTW, I think that little boiler in the back is none other than RGS #20, a little NG 4-6-0. Apparently, she rolled over at one point in her career and one of the boiler courses was no longer perfectly round. The SRR guys cut that section out (visible here) and have recently replaced it with brand new steel.

If you think this is something, try a tour of the shop at Steamtown. The facility there is probably capable of building a NEW steam locomotive from scratch (which is almost what they're doing with PRR 1361!). Sure would be nice if someone would come up with the money to build, say, a brand-new New York Central Niagara.
