Wow, when I think of northern Michigan I don't think of rail activity or photo ops but this proves me wrong. Nice photo.

While its always difficult to reflect on slowly losing another Alco line, your picture makes it a bit easier :)

First of all, I love the setting where the photo was taken with the bridge and river. Secondly, I love seen a former WC GP35M rebuilt by the WC to a GP35, then sold off to Western Rail Inc. and rebuilt into a GP38 still running the miles away!
