Amazing Shot! Excellent composition and use of light! Definitely getting a PCA vote from me!

I like the way in which the dark foreground and tree creates a frame and gives the well-lit train more "pop" through contrast.

Nothing more to say, just an awesome take on a very popular location. Nice catch on the 4 bright future units together, CSX would have a field day trying to PhotoShop all of them into dakr future paint.

Interesting take on an overshot angle, Ryan. I loved the way you used the tree to frame the shot. Just another in your eclectic collection of Northeast shots.

Great shot! Looks like a very scenic location. Is this near Iona Island?

Adam, yes this train is leaving the north end of Iona Island heading towards the new siding on it's way towards Selkirk. I would guess Ryan took this shot on the foot bridge under route 9W or on the south banks on a trail that starts in the parking lot above.
