8) The indication this is one of the first re-numbered units, is displayed...the initials SBD, were omitted latter.
This is where someone knew something was needed to replace "L & N, SCL, CRR, GA, A&WP, WA."
By then, it was all about the numbers.

A common occurence among roads with larg fleets of six-motor GE units, this U30C has traded a truck with a cousin. Note the lead truck is the General Steel Castings version, while the rear one is from Adirondack.
