Cool shot! The trackage certainly shows the ravages of the 60s and 70s deferred maintenance.

Thank you for this vintage Conrail photo, and I would like to see some more please.

I recall this class of geeps had a three note chime facing forward and a separate one trumpet horn facing rear. The engineer could blow both horns at the same making a very melodic sound. Conrail could have kept these units running. The B&M had GP-7s running into the 90's.
