Good thing the engineer knows when to start hitting the brakes. I'd hate to see them hit the back end of that sulfer train.

When I worked for NS out of Cincinnati, it was pretty much standard that trains waiting to get into Gest St Yard would stack up like that on Erlanger Hill. It is a common practice on the railroads.
