I hope they get transit on the line, but the rails to trails people are dreaming and I hope their wishes do not come true. That is a very active line, I don't know why they'd want to sell it, hopefully SCBT&P will pick it up if that happens.

Good news regarding this abandoned line. Iowa Pacific Holdings has just bought the line from UP going between Watsonville to Davenport and is planning on running freight and passenger trains according to Santa Cruz news! Supposed to be a Polar Express this year. Lets keep our fingers crossed that we see action on this line again.
