Different and effective, but would be better as a vertical, without all that empty black space either side.

Agreed: a nice and different shot, quite creative, and vertical cropping would be better

I have to echo the comment made by M.L.Gabert about the "poor esthetic quality axe" - only you could pull this off - congratulations on a stunning, original shot - Less is more!
