My friends and I took the train from Morton Grove to Rondout in 1985, the RTA conductor was very confused as to why 3 young teenagers wanted to go there on a very hot day, so we explained and he laughed, and laughed. He thought we were crazy..."no one get off at Rondout" he told us. I We still laugh when we get together and think about it.
