It looks like the baggage car is blocking the first number - it could even be the 347C! Great series of shots, Donald!

Santa Fe 347C never wore red Warbonnet while in service on the Santa Fe. It was renumbered to 347C while in Yellow Warbonnet. I suspect that the trailing unit in this consist is the 47C. The 347C was originally ATSF 306C, and before that 39C. IN red and silver it would have carried one of those numbers. Here is a shot of the 47C on the point of a train in Pasadena: Santa Fe 47C
