Nice sharp pic, and great composition - catching both engines.
So, an explanation is owed - What's going on in the photo with
the fireman climbing down the steps and the engineer focused
more on the hill then tracks - is the train moving? And it even
appears the diesel is on the second track except there is no
second track.

Hi Mitch, the train's moving full speed. I have no idea why the guy is climbing the steps...and the other fellow peeking out the window had a video camera...I guess he must have paid for a cab ride. The diesel is an optical illusion, I suppose...this was shot at 70mm, so there's a little compression going on.

Nice, Bill. That was me down at the sign yesterday! Steam was good due to the cool damp day. Really good color in this one.
