The bulk of the C&A's traffic goes to/from the Vulcan rock yard in Elizabeth City. It's kind of hidden over in a business park away from the office on the north side of town, and there is a lumber yard in there also. The train to Portlock leaves from there around mid-morning. There is little traffic on the Edenton side, run as needed.
