This dome is usually kept out west, in the San Francisco Bay area, for Reno Fun Trains and other special moves. I assume it's use on the Adirondack is for the fall foliage season, but since the other car of this type, that Amtrak had, was sold to Grand Luxe Tours, what specialty car covers the other side of this run?

Very nice to see Amtrak's "GREAT DOME" in the east. I wonder if New York state is sponsoring this car for the fall. Anyone have more info on this topic? Sure would be a great way to see the fall colors. Thanks for posting your pics.
