I'd rather have the actual CN&W unit leading. The heritage loco will be around for years in this paint. There's no gurantees on the 8646. Nice catch. -- Joe H.

Great photo! I caught this one not too far east of you in the La Fox/Geneva area. I'm glad they put 8646 in the front. Good to see the original unpatched CNW in the lead.

Nice Catch! Wish i had seen this. I am glad these units are back together and it is a nice change in the CNW threesome to see the oldies leading!

I don't belive that the engineer likes railfans taking photos!! Nothing wrong with takin a shot of three CNW's together again.

He was smiling and laughing though. He knew what he was driving and he knew the attention he would get from it. Never the less, it was pretty funny!
