With respect, UP does it better than CP. Two restored steam locomotives instead of one, many restored classic diesels instead of a few and a fake, an entire fleet of restored passenger equipment, and excursions accessible to the general public all over the system instead of a train for the rich only out west.

Au contraire, mon ami. Many of Canadian Pacific's excursions are accessible to the general public, especially those hauled by Steam. Further, there are countless examples of their excursion trains heading east. And besides, Union Pacific's excursions, restored diesels, and steam locomotives do not run in Canada, do they? Therefore we Canucks will simply enjoy the splendor that Canadian Pacific offers us, thank you very much.

Does UP run through the Canadian Rockies? Does UP have rodents on any of their equipment? With considerable respect for UP's excursion fleet, my vote goes to CP. Fantastic shot.
