That placard says that the truck is also used to haul asbestos. Dumb question, but how did the truck driver make out? I'm guessing by your remarks that the NS crew was OK? Great photo.

Could have been hauling asbestos waste to a landfill. The placard matches that story.

I'm guessing the trailer was empty, the tarp appears to be rolled up. You would never haul asbestos contaminated material without tarping. But then, you aren't supposed to drive in front of a train, either.

Unless he jumped, I don't think that driver made it. And seeing as how he was placarded, he should have stopped before crossing the tracks, then he wouldn't have been in this mess.

It is amazing how you see all of these truck vs. train collisions , yet some trucks never listen.
