A great photo of Regua engine yard, particularly getting three of the 'B12s' in number order. I never saw so many locos there but I guess at this date they had much less work to do. I rode behind 283 in 1968 on a Porto to Regua all stations in a former Prussian four-wheeled compartment coach with a pair of chickens under the seat!
