I read that article in Railfan & Railroad and this picture should of been in there with the rest of them. Nice photo!

Well done Steve!

I'd love to get my hands on the throttle of one of those and try that out! Great hogback shot, as usual!
What an amazing view, Nice shot Steve
So much to look at in one frame. Another quality photo, Steve.
Your hogback shots never cease to amaze Steve. Very nicely done.
Everyone else said it Steve! Awesome shot.

haha that absolutely amazes me! That should not be humanly possible. Almost looks like something you would see in a cartoon.

I love those hogbacks! Great picture.
Incredible shot Steve, Thanks. Did you use your 600mm lens for this one?
Another great one, Steve. But I have a question. How can one sit on such a great photo for over a year and a half?
Nice shot and great combination with that road ! I like it very much !
Takes a skilled engineer to handle that train. Nice shot.

Br549 no you don't.. hogbacks like this will beat you to death. you have to be in and out of the throttle all the time.. this is a real cool picture.. good job, steve

...........and I thought that I ran on hard territory. Excellent shot.

This is a bit different and you are to be lauded for capturing such an excellent view - I shall try and persuade Mr.Avery to contemplate a visit to Texas - the most republican of states but also the place with the most divorces and the most murders!!
Amazing shot of an amazing piece of railroad. This route would test even the very best of engineers...I imagine the place is littered with broken knuckles.
awesome shot!
