Great photo, nothing like a train in the early morning. I've had a couple of opportunities to experience the brakeman/conductors' vantage point myself working for some scenic railroads in Ohio. You can also see why the cuppola caboose was "dropped" from the rear of trains, as the height difference is clearly indicated. Although, bay windows are still capable of getting the job done of viewing the train up the side. I will say however: "Bring back the caboose!"
