Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. It's timeless. Thanks for sharing this, along with your other work.

Cool shot, John.

Nice one, John. That looks like Mt Shas, hey, where the ta? Classic power, beautiful scenic Mount Shasta - how can you go wrong? Excellent color and sharpness from 1964, no less. I'd sign up for a charter even it was "only" these Baldwins.

I'm waiting for Julie Andrews to pop out by the mountain singing The Sound of Music.

Mitch commented, "Excellent color and sharpness from 1964, no less." Those of us shooting back then had the benefit of Kodachrome II, which I would argue was the best slide film ever. But for whatever reasons (I am told environmental) Kodachrome II was replaced by Kodachrome 25 and Kodachrome 64. I know a lot of folks swear by Kodachrome 25, but in my experience at least it was noticeably inferior to the original Kodachrome II. Today I use Provia 100 mostly, and it is good film. But I'd be hard pressed to say that it is better than Kodachrome II from 40 years earlier, only two stops faster.

Julie Andrews? Those Baldwins must have been singing a beautiful song she could never sing. Fantastic shot!
