Hi Richard,
As the 4 legs are not coupled, except by connection to the main frames (body or in US parlance the bed) I think a donkey should be and an 0-1-1-1-1-0 :)

Alan, I'm not sure that 0-1-1-1-1-0 is allowable under the Whyte notation. I could accept 0-2-2-0 on the basis that the drivers are not coupled, though. :) Richard
