This is a funny picture. As a locomotive engineer myself, I cannot ever recall wanting to "dress up" as a steam-era engineer and go to work on diesel locomotives

This engineer is probably a bit hard-pressed to find a steam engine or perhaps he's waiting for just the right one. Non-the-less, he looks every bit the part of a qualified engineer. He was kind enough to allow the photo which speaks volumes. It's nice to see someone that enjoys their job enough to dress the part. Thanks for sharing this one Mike!
