Not only do I give this photo a PC vote, but I hope it has a chance for PotW! I think street running is awesome but "front lawn running" is even better! The fact that there are people outside and there is well kept vegetation make this photo extraordinary. I hope I can someday take a shot like this. Thank you very, very much for sharing, Dick.

This is tremendous. There's something about railway pictures where you can't see the railway for grass! The dog and child looking on add a vital ingredient.

This one reminds me of my childhood! I am probably the same age as the girl in the photo too. Very nice pic!

A very fascinating photo.... I try to picture myself hanging out in that front yard and seeing the clean Rock engine rumble through.

It barely even looks like there is track there.
And it must be fun in the middle of the night trying to sleep when a train goes by.
But a very good shot Dick.

Rails? Where we're going we don't need rails.

Missed this one, glad you got a PC on it!
Very unusual setting, and add the short lived paint scheme of such a well liked railroad.
I grew up with a line in my backyard but it was seperated by a fence and a thick row of trees.
Very compelling shot.

A first generation Geep pulling a TOFC train on a railroad that doesn't exist anymore in someone's back yard. This is one of the best photos I have ever seen.

I never tire of viewing this pic in my faves...perhaps it takes me back to a simpler time in life growing up on the main CP line through Mississauga Ontario....thank you Dick Hovey.
