THE WP&Y website refers to them as Class 90 diesels. I never realized these were GE's, for some reason I thought they were ALCO's. Must have got them confused with hood units...

The shovel-noses are GE's basic export design prior to the introduction of the Universal series in 1955. They can be found in Argentina, Uruguay and perhaps other countries. Some used Alco 244 and 251 engines.
