I haven't seen that for a while, the last time was in Willits here in Mendocino County (I'm in Redwood Valley, about 14 miles south) back in the early 80's. A guy came out from the depot and handed the orders to a very similarly outstetched Conductor's hand in a the same model of caboose, I was a teen at the time, ahh the good ole days!
