Ha, thanks Ray! Legend has it that he rented it from Southern Pacific for $1/month. Of course you have to "deal with" trains passing all the time. All in all a pretty good deal for a Texas Lutheran College student and railfan, I'd say.

Sadly, Southern Pacific razed this depot in 1987, not very long after this was taken. According to what I've read, SP felt its vacant depots were a liability, so removed this one without considering relocation.
