Cherish the shot because most likely these units will be scrapped. When I last worked for NS word was they were going to be scrapped when they were due for major overhauls.

I was told they weren't the best units, lots of problems with the prime movers, although most are over 20 years old now. Neat photo nonetheless.

If you notice the two front locomotives (closest to you), are different from all the others. On the other 11 there is what you might wanna call a hump, on the front two that part does not stick up above the cabs, whereas on the other ones it does.
