Great light in Afton Cnyn Dave! Ya gotta love the combo of exhaust/dust lighting up in the low angled light against the contrast of deep end of day shadows and that orangish Afton soil.

Excelent shot, with the bridge, canyon and low light...beautiful!
|
Very nice shot, Dave... I like your composition of it!
|
Some of the best shots are pure dumb luck. I knew this train was coming and I caught it two miles deeper in the canyon, then hauled butt in front of it to this spot where the sun was pushing through, I had maybe 5 seconds to compse my shot and just snapped away!

Nice shot Dave, i enjoy all your photos

Dave,
you have captured the essence of the LA&SL!...........MAGIC!
keep up the good work

I'd rather be lucky than good. In this case, as usual you've accomplished both.
Cheers

I'll agree with everyone 100%. Finally, a desert/mountain photo from Cali thats worth looking at. Thanks for sharing, Dave. BTW, is the dust from your car or truck when you were "hauling butt"? LOL Great shot again.
