Yes, S.J. you have right, this is a DL500 model on a local train Thesaloniki-Kozani...northwest Greece

I thought so, due to the striking resemblance to the Australian 44 class.

Hello Stephen, Yes indeed. The resemblance is big. Some greek modelers,use this Australian model to convert to greek.

This is a lovely picture of a great locomotive of an era no loger existing. Do you have more of these? Please display them all. Some of us suffered to see these great locos scraped in pieces. It is so nice to see them in their glorious moments. For the history only one remains, A-302 Sole survivor still alive and kicking. Thank you again Kantririsn. Are you Greek?
