They're not rare out here in California, a lot of Amtrak California trains run with them. Metrolink in Southern California also runs some.

I know they are quite common in California. We don't get them around here unless they are going to or from their overhauls. We'll gladly trade of of your F59s for some of our P42s. ;) Thank you for your kind words Chris! It is starnge to see an F59 with the Sears Tower behind it.
