The "extra" that really makes this photograph pop, is the sunlight filtering through the rising road dust that further separates the train from the mountain backdrop. Martin on October 16, 2006  yeah, a true stunner Dave. Really love how the light just about blocks out all signs of BNSF markings and that played out boring Pumpkin orange! Really, this image is all about the train's silhouette, the glint off the rails, the headlights, the purple mountians majesty and how that exhaust adds to both the hazy skyline and contrasts nicely against the shadowed top edges of the train - almost painting like. Very nice!!!
