One of the saddest sights I ever witnessed was the scrapping of this unit and her two sisters, on River Road in Louisville during the early '90's. Also in the scrapyard that week were two spotless orange and cream 80t GE's,with blue rotating beacons on the roof. I never did ID them, & wonder if any of the many railfans who photographed them that week, will see this?
